Mimi is an official remake of Marathi film ‘Mala Aai Vhachy’.

Synopsis: John and Summer wants to surrogate their baby. The couple visits Jaipur where they meet Bhanu(Pankaj Tripathi) a taxi driver and the couple said about their problem and they will pay a hefty amount to the girl and Bhanu.

Bhanu took responsibility and found a girl name Mimi(Kriti Sanon) a traditional dancer at five star hotel. She used to entertain the foreign guests, she had a dream to become an actress at bollywood and she needs money to visit Mumbai. Bhanu gave her offer for Surrogacy and handover their baby delivery. Mimi agrees to the offer as she has a dream to become an actress.

After few months the couple denies to take their baby as Doctor told them that baby will take birth with disabilities. Now the emotional rollercoaster starts. what will happen next?? Will Mimi abort or she will give birth to the baby ??

All over Mimi is fun and emotional film. Kriti Sanon as Mimi and other actors in their respective roles are fabulous. Legendary Music Composer AR Rahman Composed heart touching and Melodious songs. It’s not a one time watch audience can watch as many as time they want.

5 Bengali comedy classic films you should not miss.

Bengali film industry which is also known as Tollywood has proved to be one of the successful film industry in India. It’s contribution for Indian Cinema is Infinite and special mention to Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen, Hrithik Ghatak. There was an era mainly 60s and 70s when Bollywood directors especially Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chatterjee used to make there films based on Bengali classics. Thriller and Rom-Com is the most successful genre that still audience of Bengal loves to watch.

Today I am going to discuss 5 Bengali Comedy Classics which you should watch atleast once in a lifetime.

5. Dhonni meye (1971)

Dhonni meye directed by Arabinda Mukherjee stars Uttam Kumar, Jaya Bachchan, Partha Mukherjee and others.

Synopsis: Bogola (Partha Mukherjee) is a captain of a football team Sarbamangala Club managed by Kali Dutta (Uttam Kumar). The team goes to a village Hardbhanga to play in the finals of a Manchester Shield . Gobordhan Chowdhury (Jahar Ray) is the president of the local football club and after losing the ancestral “Manchester shield” (named after his father, Manchester Chowdhury); decides to forcefully marry off Monosha (Jaya Bachchan) and Bogola to Keep the “Shield” in the family.

4. Mouchak (1974)

Mouchak directed by Arabinda Mukherjee stars Uttam Kumar, Ranjit Mallick, Sabitri and Mithu Mukherjee

Synopsis: Sitish Roy (Ranjit Mallick) an eligible bachelor lives with his elder brother Nitish(Uttam Kumar) and sister-in-law(Sabitri Chatterjee). He gets a job in a jute mill. Few days later, Sitish becomes frantic with the marriage proposals from local residents. Everyone including his office boss coaxes him to marry his aged daughter and numerous funny incidents start rolling

3. Basanta Bilap (1973)

Basanta Bilap directed by Dinen Gupta stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Aparna Sen, Chinmay Ray, Rabi Ghosh and others

Synopsis: Basanta Bilap is all about a hilarious clash between four boys and four girls. The whole story propagated through the sweet and sour relationship between those two groups.

2. Jamalai jibonto manush (1958)

Synopsis:- This film, based on the novel of Dinabandhu Mitra in the same name, Sidhu(Bhanu) is mistakenly sent to hell while he is still alive. He starts a revolution in hell and heaven, and chases Yamraj and Chitragupta. He eradicates outdated rules and norms that were framed by the Hindu God of Death, Yamraj, and his head clerk Chitragupta, while Bichitragupta assists him.

1. Gupi Bagha series (1969,1980,1992)

Gupi Bagha Series directed by Satyajit Ray stars Rabi Ghosh, Tapen Chatterjee

Synopsis: The story revolves around Gopinath Gyne alias Goopy and Bagha Bayen. Goopy sings terribly without melody, rhythm on other hand Bagha has been exiled for playing the drum badly. They soon make a team after encountering a tiger and start singing and drumming, but in the process attract a group of ghosts who are fascinated by their music. Happy with their performance, the king of the ghosts gives them three boons, all of which are only available to both all the time.

After eleven years of Goopy Gyne and Bagha Bayen Satyajit Ray made a sequel named Hirak Rajar Deshe(1980) and after twelve years of Hirak Rajar Deshe Sandip Ray son of Satyajit Ray made third instalment Goopy Gyne Bagha Bayen series named Goopy Bagha phire elo(1991)

Actors of regional film who worked in Bollywood.

Bollywood lovers like me, you and entire Indian audience have witnessed these actors performance in big screen, they have worked in many Magnum opus films of Bollywood and even few people know them as a regional film actor, despite there good performance some of these actors get less recognition in Bollywood as we know Nepotism toh Abhi hawa mein udd raha hain. But still being an audience we shouldn’t stop supporting them we want there more movies in big screen, let me help you to know them and there works in Bollywood.

1. Ravi Kishan

Ravi Kishan is a Bhojpuri Superstar and Member of Parliament, we have saw him in popular Bollywood movies like Tere Naam, Bullet Raja, Luck, Phir Hera Pheri, Mukkabaaz and recently in Batla House and Marjaavan. He even worked in Superhit Telugu film Race Gurram (Main hoon lucky the racer) starring Allu Arjun, Shruti Hassan.

2. Jishu Sengupta

Jishu sengupta a superstar of Bengali Cinema, worked in Several Hindi movies like Barfi, Netaji  Subhash Chandra Bose: The forgotten Army, Piku,Mardaani, Mardaani 2, Manikarnika and recently we saw him in Shakuntala Devi opposite Vidya Balan, his upcoming films are Sadak 2, Durgavati (remake of Telugu hit film Bhaagamathie.) and many more.

3. Prakash Raaj.

I won’t say much about him as everyone knows him, he’s versatile and talented actor Prakash Raaj he worked in movies like Heropanti, Singham, Dabangg 2, Wanted, Singh Saab the great, Entertainment, Policegiri, Khakee and many more he received many accolades from audiences and we want him to see in more films.

4. Saswata Chatterjee.

He’s one of the most popular Versatile actor in Tollywood and he’s proving his versatility in Bollywood too he’s Saswata Chatterjee recently we saw him in Dil Bechara and people praised his acting beside this he also worked in films like Jagga Jasoos and Kahani , people praised him as he played negative role name Bob Biswas in the film. He should get more and more offers from Bollywood.

5. Nassar.

Remember Baapji from Rowdy Rathore was an antagonist in the film and Bijaladeva from Bahubali 1 and Bahubali 2. He’s another talented actor in Indian Film Industry who prove his talent in both South and north Indian films, he worked in Bollywood movies like Article 15, Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Angrakshak.

So these are the actors who working in Bollywood they are still. It’s our responsibility to support them along with the bigger name. They are the deserving actors. A hero cannot run a film until there are other supporting actors. Even a junior Artists has a big role in the film.
