When we hear or read the term “SUPERSTAR” only one name comes in our mind. Yes you guessed it right.

Rajesh Khanna the first-ever Superstar of Indian Cinema. He had set an unbreakable record so many years has passed the new faces came the new superstar established in bollywood but couldn’t break the record.
Many of you are surprised what kind of record it can be that today’s superstars couldn’t break it. So let me clear it, Khanna delivered 15 consecutive hit films in box office which is still unbreakable. After massive success of “Aradhana” Rajesh Khanna became popular overnight and fans gave him a new name Superstar. Aradhana was directed by Shakti Samanta who later became popular duo with Rajesh Khanna they both have delivered many blockbusters. Music Composed by Sachin Dev Burman but 2 songs was composed by Rahul Dev Burman and those 2 songs are still memorable still evergreen and it will never fade away from our heart even today’s generation loves to listen those songs are Mere sapno ki rani and Roop Tera Mastana.

Even before Rajesh Khanna film industry exist and there were many stars before him like Ashok Kumar, Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Dharmendra but they were not recognised as a superstar people used to call them Jubilee Star though Dharmendra was also a superstar but he was declared later after Khanna.
Emergence of Rajesh Khanna in film industry which also brought a new taste in Hindi music Kishore Kumar, R.D. Burman delivered a memorable hits that people still added in their playlist. Rajesh Khanna, Kishore Kumar, R D Burman and Shakti Samanta became a team and they worked in many Successful films.

1. Aradhana (1969)

The first blockbuster in Rajesh Khanna’s filmy career directed by Shakti Samanta, Music by S.D. Burman, Lyrics: Anand Bakshi.
2. Do Raaste (1969)

Directed by Raj Khosla, Music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Lyrics: Anand Bakshi, Cast along with Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, Prem Chopra, Bindu and others. Rajesh Khanna and Raj Khosla worked for first time.
3. Bandhan (1969)

Directed by Narendra Bedi, Music by Kalyanji Anandji, Produced by G.P. Sippy. Cast: Mumtaz, Rajendra nath and others.
4. Doli (1969)

Directed by: Adurthi Subba Rao, Music by Ravi , dialogue and lyrics: Rajinder Kishan, Cast Babita, Prem Chopra, Om Prakash.
5. Khamoshi (1969)

Directed by Asit Sen, Music by Hemant Kumar, Lyrics by Gulzar, Cast Waheeda Rehman, Dharmendra (guest appearance).
6. Ittefaq (1969)

Directed by Yash Chopra, Music by Salil Chaudhary, cast: Nanda, Bindu, Sujit Kumar and others. Rajesh Khanna and Yash Chopra worked in three films Ittefaq was their first collaboration.
7. Safar (1970)

Rajesh Khanna’s second collaboration with Asit Sen, Music by Kalyanji Anandji, Lyrics by Anand Bakshi.
8. Kati Patang (1970)

The Aradhana team was back for second time. Shakti Samanta, RD Burman, Anand Bakshi, Kishore Kumar and Rajesh Khanna collabrate for the second time. Like Aradhana the songs of Kati Patang are still memorable and evergreen. Kati Patang was box office blockbuster.
9. The Train (1970)

Directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Music by Salil Chaudhary, Lyrics by Gulzar. Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Rajesh Khana, Amitabh Bachchan worked together for first time their second and last collaboration was Namak Haram (1973).
