Ayyan Mani belongs from dalit family due to lower caste of the society neither he nor his forefathers could enjoy his life. Ayyan and his Oja(Indira Tiwari) lives in a chawl in Mumbai. Ayyan used to dream big he promised his wife that one day I’ll make my son a genius. He gave his son all the facilities from admitting him to one of the finest school to giving a proper tuition.
